By most nights, STUDIO is a sound-forward, nightlife venue designed for DJ sets, but we’ve always believed that a space doesn’t have to be defined by a single purpose. When Epicurean SB approached us about hosting a dinner, we saw an opportunity to do something a little different. Together with STUDIO, we reimagined the industrial-modern space into something unexpected: a moody, atmospheric dining environment designed to elevate every bite and pour.
The signature LED tube lights remained as architectural anchors but were softened by warm, strategic uplighting and intimate table-level illumination. The result was a balance between clean geometry and cozy ambiance. The disco ball—left intentionally—added a surreal, playful elegance that reminded guests this was no ordinary supper club.
Chef de Cuisine Amy Baer crafted a stunning culinary lineup to match the setting. Guests began with vibrant shared plates—Salanova Lettuces with blue cheese-shallot vinaigrette, Roasted Beets layered with grapefruit and yuzu kosho crème fraîche, and Chicken Liver Mousse served with pickled mustard seed. The menu built toward rich entrées like Braised Short Ribs over kabocha squash polenta and Escargot Risotto with mascarpone. Dessert brought it all home with a luxurious Chocolate Mousse Biscuit Cake paired with salted caramel.
